Swift Student Challenge is highly competitive and only awards 350 students around the world. Poom is the third Thai who receives this prize; five years ago, the first Thai winner was also a VMS student, Kiratijuta Bhumichitr.

Poom studies Computer Science at VMS. He enjoys learning and exploring knowledge in computing technology; he has improved various skills in the process. While he is still in his senior year, he is also responsible as the iOS lead developer of AU SPARK.
